Vinitaly: great success for the Bortolomiol new Grande Cuvée of the Founder

Like every year Bortolomiol dedicates a day of Vinitaly to present a new project, and this year the news was the Founder’s Grande Cuvée, a new Motus Vitae Brut Nature Millesimato harvest 2013.

The new bottle, unveiled at an event with a tasting guided by the sommelier Alessandro Scorsone, is made in white glass, with a label that recalls the colors of the earth and sky, the wine is a Zero Dosage, coming from a single vineyard, a “Rive”, and it has all the elements to become a success. It is even more valuable because it comes in a limited edition.

“We are here today – said Elvira Bortolomiol – not only for the presentation of this wine, but to present a new way to interpret the future of farming in a sustainable manner“.

And in support of his statement, two other announcements were made: the new partnership with the winemaker Roberto Cipresso and its WineCircus and the presentation of the incoming oenologist Michele Spina, a young team that will work to state once more the commitment of the winery to a green production in harmony with the territory.

In an atmosphere of great enthusiasm many other friends and aficionados attended and talked at the event, starting from the chef Renzo Dal Farra who presented the dish created to match the tasting of the new Grande Cuvée and some great journalists like Andrea Cuomo, Francesco D’Agostino and Andrea Gabrielli.

A moment of celebration which involved many guests and visitors and which put together “Nice people – as Alessandro Scorsone said – who are meant to meet”, in this case for exciting projects and looking forward to the future of a wine and a territory which never cease to amaze and evolve.
