EXPO – The latest event at the Sapòrem space: Elvira Bortolomiol meets chef Max from Gambero Rosso channel

On Monday, 26th October at 7.30PM the latest EXPO event were held at Sapòrem, the space inside the Eataly hall, which is shared by four consortia representing the Made in Italy excellence: Grana Padano, Mortadella Bologna IGP, Prosciutto di San Daniele DOP, and Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG.

The event “SANDWICHES MADE BY MAX WITH SAPOREM” saw as protagonist the chef star Massimiliano Mariola, alias Max from Gambero Rosso Channel. Bortolomiol, as always has been present with the Prosecco Superiore biological Ius Naturae, and this time also with Elvira Bortolomiol representing the company, who met the Chef.

Who said that a sandwich does not deserve the same care and attention of a gourmet meal in choosing the ingredients? This was the challenge of Chef Max, who has created three absolutely special sandwiches for this event: using special breads and reinterpreted sauces, the chef has combined the made in Italy excellence of Grana Padano DOP, Mortadella Bologna IGP and San Daniele ham DOP, accompanied by a glass of Prosecco Conegliano Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG.

Expo 2015 is coming to and end, and the response has been more than satisfactory, first of all for the increasingly numerous public, diverse both in age and nationality. During the month of September in particular, at the space Sapòrem, there was a turnout of more than 25,000 visitors: most of them were Italian of course, followed by French, German, Belgian (including several restaurateurs), Polish, American and some Asian. It is really interesting the curiosity shown by the visitors for the Prosecco Superiore: they required an explanation on the name, on the differences between the proposed versions, on the name of the vine or some curiosity about the territory.
