THE SPIRIT OF PROSECCO
From the precious marc of the Bandarossa Prosecco vintage Extra Dry, Bortolomiol decided to make a very special, refined grappa which would with every sip express the fresh spirit of this magnificent hillside wine. The result is a subtle, delicately fragranced grappa, with fruity notes and a light, intriguing hint of must (new wine). The taste is fine and harmonious.
This is a Grappa with immediate and very fine fragrances. It gives lovely sensations of mature white fruits with a delicate overtone of the Prosecco grape. It is not overpoweringly alcoholic, giving a soft sweet sensation in the mouth. This is an elegant grappa, perfect as well for drinkers not used to drinking grappa. | GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS | Grappa from the distillation of Prosecco pomace made from premium grapes carefully selected at the moment of pressing. |
| POMACE | The pomace is put into fermentation containers using a technology called “GrappaSystem”. This system, by carefully controlling acidity levels and adding selected yeasts, maintains the rich aromas right up to the moment of distillation. |
| DESCRIPTION | A fine and moderately aromatic Grappa, with fruity notes of apple and apricot as well as honey and vanilla all culminating in a delicate finish. |
| DISTILLAZIONE | The distillation process carefully blends Grappa from a vacuum distillation still with a smooth and fruity Grappa slowly distilled in a copper alembic still heated using a bain-marie. |
| APPEARANCE | Clear and transparent with no residue. |
| HOW TO SERVE | In fine glassware between 10 - 12° C. |
